Examinations
The Examination is an important part of the Institution. The Prime responsibility of Examination wing is conducting the University Theory and Practical examinations in fair and systematic manner under the direction of the Chief Superintendent of Examinations. Examination wing is also responsible for conducting Internal examinations (2 per semester) and a Model examination. The internal exams are conducted for 25 marks and external examinations are conducted for 75 marks.
Scheme for Internal Assessment
The scheme of internal examination as follow as,

External Examination
The external examinations are held by Alagappa University at the end of each semester. A minimum candidate who does not pass the examination may be permitted to appear in the failed subjects in the subsequent examinations. A candidate should get registered for the first semester examination.
75% attendance is must in each to appear for the university examinations. Students who have more than 70% and less than 75% of attendance have to apply for condonation in the prescribed form given by Alagappa university. Students those who are having below 60% of attendance are not eligible to appear for the university examination. The students with lack of attendance are permitted to redo the semester(s) after completing the program.
Functions of the Examination Wing
Any Circular, Guidelines, Notifications received by the College are processed in the Examination wings.
Examination Notices received from the University are duly informed to all faculties and students.
The examination wing conducts the Internal Exams, model exam and University theory and practical Examinations for all the UG and PG programmes.
